Course Description:
This 2-day course is an introduction to ENE SYSTEM’s automation interface software suite “Control Suite” and its features. A demo database will be used to simulate a building’s HVAC equipment and the associated building automation system. Both I/A MicroNet LON and NETWORK 8000 System hardware and system architecture will be discussed. Wonderware InTouch’sTM “Window Viewer” is an integral part of Control Suite. InTouch Window Viewer is a graphical human machine interface (HMI) and will be used to navigate through a simulated building’s energy management system. This HMI is used to both monitor and control the Building Automation System (BAS).

Prerequisites:
None, this is a basic introduction level training.
This course is a required prerequisite for the 3-day Control Suite Advanced class.

Course Covers:
The CS operator/user uses Control Suite for day-to-day operating procedures to logon to and use Wonderware’s InTouch “Window Viewer” to navigate from Control Suite screen to screen, change setpoints, adjust a schedule, create an override, view and acknowledge alarms, view and modify an historical trend for a building’s automation system.

Intended Audience:
ENE SYSTEM’s customers whose building automation system uses the Control Suite program as their graphical human machine interface (HMI).
 

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

  • Log on / Log off Control Suite

  • Add / Remove users

  • Assign user privileges

  • Navigate from Control Suite screen to screen

  • Change a setpoint

  • Adjust a schedule

  • Create and clear a NETWORK 8000 override

  • View and Acknowledge alarms

  • View and edit the 8 Pen Trend Wizard for historical trending

Course Duration:
The course is 1.5 days in duration, running from 8:00AM to 3:00PM on the first day and 8:30AM to 12:00PM on the 2nd day.
